Top 5 Things

You Need to Know About Your

Oracle Contract

Here are the facts:

  • Unless there is a specific clause in your contract prohibiting cloud migration, your contract has no bearing on your cloud strategy. We’ve yet to see a contract with this provision.
  • Oracle acknowledged in a 2017 policy statement that companies can run Oracle applications in a third-party private or public cloud environment.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) is an authorized cloud environment.
  • Third-party assessments do not trigger Oracle audits when run on your development environment.

If you’re considering taking the plunge, but still unsure of where to begin, we want to help. What makes sense for your organization, timeline, and goals? Where are the risks? Every contract is different, so it’s important to be familiar with your specific contract and entitlements. We can help you get there.
